The killing of actress and model Twisha Sharma at the age of 33 years in Indian state, Bhopal has led to a huge media storm because of the influential in-laws who have claimed that their daughter-in-law committed suicide as she suffered from mental illness, while the rest of her family says that she was harassed for dowry and subsequently forced to undergo an abortion. Married only for five months, Twisha was subjected to torture by her in-laws, her husband being a lawyer and mother-in-law a retired judge. The findings from the first autopsy conducted show that there were certain physical marks on Twisha before her death. The case has been transferred to the CBI for further investigation.
